Hi I’m a rising freshman at UC Berkeley. I founded ProMicro in 2021 because I am passionate about equal access to quality education and boosting civic engagement in my community. I have published political ethics research with UCI for three years, where I worked on areas such as Police Brutality, Courage and Morality in the Age of Trump and Moral Relativism during the Third Reich. My current areas of research interest include Ethics, Applied Ethics, Philosophy of Social Sciences, and Social and Political Philosophy. I also love music and I play the guitar, the flute, and the piano.

Hi my name is Maanika Rangi, I’m a rising freshman at UC Berkeley. I’ve always found that it’s important for the youth, especially in the current political climate, to have at least a basic knowledge of how politics are affecting both them and the people around them. In addition to ProMicro i’m president of Girl Up, a movement to advance girls’ skills, rights, and opportunities to be leaders. I’m so excited to be a part of the advisory board!

After witnessing firsthand the growing issue of financial disparity and illiteracy within the community, guiding and educating underprivileged children to prevent the same misfortune for future generations.

I am extremely excited to be a member of the Promicro Advisory Board! I will be attending UCLA this fall. As a teen present in today’s political climate, I believe that fostering a political education for our youth is vital to make the change we wish to see a reality. Along with my passion for human’s rights, I will use my interest in political education to serve our youth to the best of my ability.

Nice to meet you, I’m David. Currently I’m rising freshman at Yale University. Some of my favorite activities include leading my schools finance club, editing for the newspaper, playing basketball, and serving on the school wide integrity council. Outside of the classroom you can catch me playing in a good game of pickup, hanging out with friends, cooking, or playing with my cat, Mittens.

Hey!! My name is Veronique Mintz, I’m from NYC, and I’m a rising freshman at Boston University. I have always been involved in my community from the time I was little, whether it be writing postcards to swing states, delivering food to homeless shelters, or volunteering with my temple. Through these experiences, I have seen how politics and the people we vote for shape the economy, and specifically how it affects lower income families. I believe ProMicro is the perfect combination of my interests - my passion for community service and my fascination with politics. I can’t wait to serve on the advisory board!
